  1. A non-refundable $500 deposit along with a signed contract will be submitted by the renting party to secure an event date. A valid credit card must also be submitted to secure payment for event. A payment equivalent to the amount of the food & beverage minimum is due 14 days prior to the event. The remaining balance is due 14 days post-event.
  2. In the event of cancellation within 10 days of booked event date, the renting party will be responsible for cost of food and beverage already purchased for event.
  3. Damage to or removal of New Berlin Hills property or supplies may result in full or partial loss of deposit. This includes, but is not limited to: building structures, furniture, dance floor and decorations.
  4. All food and beverage purchases are subject to 5.1% tax and 19% gratuity.
  5. The food and beverage minimum applies to all pre-ordered food and beverages only. Cash bar, Room rental, other rentals, tax and gratuity do not apply to the minimum purchase requirement.
  6. Food and Beverage prices are subject to change. All prices will be guaranteed 60 days prior to the wedding.
  7. Damage to or removal of NBH property or supplies may result in loss of deposit and replacement or repair charges. This includes but is not limited to building structure, furniture, dance floor and decorations. The renting party is also responsible for any fines associated with false fire alarms or 911 calls.
  8. Decorations may not include glitter, items that shed glitter or confetti. Candles are permissible but must be in appropriate containers and locations approved by NBH staff. Adhering nails, screws, tacks or pins to walls or fixtures in prohibited.  Any decorating in violation of the policy will result in a clean up/repair fee.
  9. All set up will be done by NBH staff and approved vendors. Florists, cake providers and DJ’s must contact F&B Director Wendy Sloniker for appropriate set up times.
  10. Cake cutting will be provided by NBH staff at no charge.
  11. Wisconsin Food Law requires that all wedding cakes be provided by a licensed provider.
  12. Food and beverages not supplied by NBH are strictly prohibited (with the exception of wedding cake). Any unapproved carry-ins will be confiscated and returned at the end of the wedding.
  13. All guests must be able to provide valid proof of age for alcoholic beverage service or consumption. NBH requires all guests to be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol at NBH.
  14. NBH reserves the right to refuse or discontinue alcoholic beverage service to any patron at any time.
  15. Beverages may be purchased ala carte or as a package. Beverage choices must be submitted 10 days prior the event; beverage choices or packaging may not change after this time.
  16. The final number of wedding guests must be submitted before noon on the Tuesday prior to the event. The final number given at that time will be the final number billed and can not be reduced. In the event that additional guests show up, NBH will try to accomodate the guests but can not guarantee the same menu for those guests. Applicable charges will be applied for additional guests.
  17. To keep in accordance with Wisconsin Health Code and for the health and safety of all our guests, left over food may not be taken off premise (wedding cake leftovers will be allowed to be taken). Alcoholic beverages may not be taken off premises.
  18. NBH’s bar and clubhouse is not open to wedding guests prior to the scheduled reception start time.
  19. In accordance to the requests of the City of New Berlin, the clubhouse will be closed at midnight. Last call will be given at 11:40pm. All vendors must be out of the facility by 12:30am.
  20. All breakdown and clean up will be performed by NBH staff. Any decorations or accessories belonging to the renting party can be taken at midnight or have arrangements to be picked up at a later date. Wedding gifts and cards should be taken at the end of the night.
  21. Seating charts and name cards must be submitted 24 hours prior to the wedding. Name cards should be alphabetized. Name cards or seating charts should also identify children’s meals or specialty plates (vegetarian or allergies) that have been submitted at the time of the final guest count. Table numbers and name cards must be provided by the renting party.
  22. NBH is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.


Outdoor Ceremony

  1. Outdoor ceremonies may not start before 4:00pm
  2. Ceremony rehearsals will be permitted when scheduling allows but are not guaranteed.
  3. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the renting party will be required to reserve and/or rent an outdoor tent. This can be done independently or through NBH. Please consult F&B Director Wendy Hafemann for pricing and information and for rental deadlines.
  4. Ceremony pricing is as follows: 75-99 guests: $150, 100-124 guests: $200, 125-149 guests: $250, 150-175 guests: $300. Pricing includes white padded chairs and all set up provided by NBH staff.
  5. Bridal parties are permitted to take pictures in designated areas around the clubhouse in designated areas only.
  6. Guests are not allowed on the course at anytime. Designated outside areas are set for guests. Guests are expected to keep a close eye on children.
